About Concrete Contractors Goodyear

Concrete Contractors Goodyear builds and fixes the concrete around West Valley homes: driveways, back patios, stamped walks, pool decks, utility and RV slabs, and repairs to all of them. We do flatwork only, so house foundations, block walls and structural engineering are outside what we take on.

Desert concrete rewards patience in the parts nobody sees. The ground under a slab has to be firm and evenly compacted, the forms have to carry water away from the stucco, and a July pour has to be kept from drying out before it hardens. Our quotes spend as many lines on those steps as on the finish.

From first call to cured slab

Before the pour. We visit, take measurements, note the truck route and any gate the concrete has to pass through, and check where runoff goes today. You get a written price broken out by base, thickness, reinforcement, finish and sealing. We find out whether the city or county needs a permit for your project, and if you are in an HOA we give you a drawing to submit for approval.

Pour day. Forms and slope are checked before the ready-mix is ordered. From late spring through early fall, trucks are scheduled close to sunrise. Joints are cut the same day and curing begins as soon as finishing ends.

After. We leave written dates for foot traffic, cars and sealing, plus a reminder to keep sprinklers off the new edges. If digging turns up something that changes the scope, such as hidden soft fill or a thick caliche layer, we stop, explain it and price it before going on.

When the trouble is the house itself, such as a cracked foundation wall or moisture coming through an interior floor, we tell you so and suggest the kind of specialist to call.
